Icexpress Progressive Prosthetics works closely with the Jam rehabilitation unit at Muelmed Hospital.

The Rehab unit was established in March 2006 and launched the opening of there new improved gym and consultation rooms in early August 2009.

There multidisciplinary team is headed by Melanie Skeen and consist of team that includes the following members Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Psychologists, Sexologists, Social Workers, Dieticians, Orthotists, Orthopedic Surgeons, Rehabilitation Doctors, Neurologists, Urologists, Physicians and nursing staff.

Icexpress Progressive Prosthetics implemented the amputee Post-op Program at Muelmed hospital, working closely together with the rehab team and the medical staff. After rehabilitation amputees learn to function independently again, gain confidence to perform daily activities and to continue living an active life.

The rehab team support and educate patients and family members during this transition time, help to reintegrate into the community and patients and family members receive education and support during this transition time. The rehab team also help to reintegrate patient back into the community and join in recreation activities.

Icexpress Progressive Prosthetics together with Jam strive to make the transition from acute hospital, through rehabilitation to home as seamless as possible for our amputees.
