Neal Stephenson

Neal Stephenson lost his right leg after being attacked by a shark near Plettenberg Bay. Neal was a South African Bodyboard Champion when this happened.

After recovery, Neal was back in the water again. Unable to do bodyboarding again, he decided to try Waveski and was sooncompeting on national level again.

In October 2005 he took up a challenge to climb Kilimanjaro with a group of other South Africans tacking technology from Icexpress up with him. Icexpress provided him with a kneeand foot from Ossur.

Conquering all the physical and mental challenges Neal was able to summit Kilimanjaro.
