Fourie, who won a gold and bronze medal in London, will line up against Great Britain’s Jonnie Peacock and Americans Richard Browne and Jerome Singleton (amongst others) in the T44 100 and 200m races.

Field specialists Casper (Derik) Schutte, Jozua (Jean) Joubert, and Tyrone Pillay complete the Icexpress foursome going for gold at the event.

Schutte, who came fourth in the F42 javelin item at last year’s London Games, is currently ranked number two in the world in this division while fellow F42 competitor, Tyrone Pillay places fourth in the IPC world rankings in F42 shot put.
